GLIDER
Wide, super-high aspect wings with maximum glide and maximum flying efficiency. Ideal for lakes, flat water foiling and connecting multiple smaller waves. 

Our most versatile high aspect foil. Well suited for pump, surf and wing foiling, tried and tested by staff and UK team riders in all 3 disciplines!

The Glider offers great top speeds with maximum glide and efficiency.

We recommend the two largest sizes (1700 and 1400) for pump foiling, flat water paddle ups, surf foiling in small waves and light wind wingfoiling.

The 1700 offers the most lift, stability and is the easiest to pump. We recommend starting with the 1700 if you’re new to pump foiling and flat water paddle ups.

The 1400 has less lift but due to it’s narrower span is much more manoeuvrable. This makes it more technical to paddle up yet much more fun in the waves and for wingfoiling.

Available as a full set with 72cm Alu mast and 250 HA Razr Tail Wing this makes a fantastic package for getting into pump foiling and super light wind wingfoiling. Also available as individual parts if you’re already onboard with the Starboard modular foil system.

The Glider's high aspect ratio and relatively straight leading edge increases flight efficiency for a maximum glide with less drag. 

The front view: relatively flat for maximum lift and pumping efficiency. The asymmetrical foil profile section gradually reduces in thickness towards the wing tips for extra speed and glide. 

The High Aspect Ratio RAZR 250 tail wing was specially developed to pair with the high aspect ratio Glider front wings for the ultimate in flat-water flight performance.

How are the wiings built?

With a dose of high-precision, high temperature CNC-milled molds, a dash of extremely high pressure and some finishing touches by a robot sander. We build  these wings in 100% high-modulus pre-preg carbon fibre using a mix of uni-directional fibres, bi-axial fibres and a proprietary ultra-light core. The wings are unbelievably light, stiff and responsive. A double overlap along the leading edge and trailing edge maximises stiffness and strength.   

QUICK LOCK II

The front wing slides over the fuselage and locks in place with a quick half-turn of the pressure bolt. By inserting spacers, Quick Lock II lets you adjust the wingbase - the distance between the front and tail wing, by up to 4cm. 

Will this front wing work with other fuselages?

Quick Lock II front wings fit only Quick Lock II fuselages. They won't work with first generation Quick Lock fuselages or the Evolution fuselages.

TAIL WING

The tail wing sits on a carbon tail piece that has an adjustable rocker saddle. Set the tail wing to your desired angle then slide it on to the fuselage. The tail piece locks in place using our patented Quick Lock system, just like the front wing.

The RAZR 250 H.A.R. uses a super-thin profile and gentle C-shape configuration to blend speed, efficiency and maneuverability. H.A.R. stands for High Aspect Ratio: the wider span and narrower chord increases aspect ratio, making this tail wing the preferred choice for flat water foiling where added speed and glide is desired.

The tail wings are made from 28 layers of high-modulus carbon, pressed at high temperatures under tremendous hydraulic pressure for maximum precision, stiffness and performance.

The carbon tail piece is available in sizes 31, 36 and 40. We chose the 36 for the standard wing set since the 36 adds more stability while still offering plenty of maneuverability and reactivity.  

 Use the 31 to add maneuverability.  Use the 40 to add stability.
