Where precision meets durability with every strike, the 4 piece chisel set is built to handle challenging tasks. This set includes 8” length cold chisels with the following widths: 7/8”, 3/8”, 1/2” and 9/16”. Chisel features a hand ground sharpened edge designed to cut and shear cold metal. Most common applications are separation of workpieces and assemblies such as rivets, screws and welding joints. The octagonal shape is easier to grip when striking with a hammer and also prevents the tool from rolling away when placed on a surface. Striking head is turned and chamfered. The material core design prevents mushrooming of the striking head. Tools are tempered to a hardness of 54 to 58 HRC - not just at the tip but throughout the entire length of the tool. Forged from top quality hardened chrome vanadium steel. Compiles with DIN 7255 standard. Set includes four (4) cold chisels: 9R 350 200 KUS (7/8" x 8"), 9R 360 202 KUS (3/8" x 8"), 9R 361 202 KUS (1/2" x 8") and 9R 362 202 KUS (9/16" x 8").
